We are getting so close!  I can't believe we have less than 20 days to go.  It's looking like we can have the New Years Eve party. But hopefully we will have a fridge by then.  We have purchased a new fridge but it will not be here until Dec 30th!  We have also bought a washer and dryer but they won't come until January! Oh well, I will do anything to get into our own place.

The house is finally coming along!  It actually looks like a house now.  They are right on schedule to get done in December with the construction schedule they gave us.   They tell us the four other houses that are sold in the same unit want to be done in December as well so they pulled another crew to get it done.  Well, the reason why I think they want to get it done is since it is so hard to get into a house these days they are not trying to draw it out too long so people can't "screw up" and not be able to close on it!  Which has happened to one of the units that is being built by our unit.  All 6 lots where sold in one unit and all 6 where declined for their loan.  Needless to say, If you drive past on of the units and it has only 3 walls up (yes 3, they are being held up by 2x4's) you now know why.

Speaking of getting into this house it has been a NIGHTMARE!!!!  They keep asking for more and more information that I swear we have already given them a thousand times.  And then they need all of our info every month to make sure nothing is happening from the first time we signed the pre approval to the final approval we just got.  We will need to give them everything AGAIN at the closing in December.  It SUCKS!  It is so stressful because you just never know what's going to happen.  Oh, and since October the amount they want for closing has gone up $1500!!!!!!!!  So that has to come from somewhere.  So, I am sorry to say if we don't give out christmas gifts this year you now know the reason why.

Even through all of this Jeff and I are still so excited for this all to be over and to finally be in the house.  It hasn't been all bad it's just been a very stressful week and felt like venting.

We are finally getting a new home!  We are so excited.  It's only been two weeks since they have started and they are almost done with the framing!  We can't believe it.  Hopefully they will be done in December so then we can have our New Years Eve party again.  It's the only time (besides Thanksgiving and Christmas) that the store is closed!  I can actually plan something in advance, so that in it's self should be a celebration.

It's been a really crazy, insane, stressful, ongoing process to get into this home thanks to this nice economy were having but it's all been worth it.  Well then again, who knows what's going to happen come November so maybe I should hold my breath!  Kidding (I think?).
